Martin Ole Purangei in USA to Promote
Nosim's New Rescue Center

Meet A Maasai.
Martin Ole Purangei will be in the states, from Kenya in June. Martin was sponsored and educated, through college by Nosim Maasai Mission. He is coming as a good will ambassador for Nosim Mission and to promote our new rescue center with his personal testimony and his firsthand knowledge on the plight of the Maasai girl child.

Nosim Mission Plans more Community/Village Schools
Nosim Maasai Mission (NMM) plans to take on more Community/Village schools. The first school is Ewang'an Community School and is one that services pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade only.
Current school building houses pre-K, K, 1 grades
NMM will be paying for:
- hot lunches for this school @ $12.30 per month each student
- putting a roof on an existing building estimating $886
- finish building a second grade classroom estimated at $1,679
- a well done toilet
- Two teachers for 52 students in Kindergarten and first grade
- a new kitchen to meet the guidelines of a government school (An approved government school will provide for the teachers and their salaries.)
- searching for sponsors for the young students
Current Second grade building - Need money to continue
NMM's long term goal is to have a primary school - grades pre-kindergarten through 8th.

Nosim Mission Opens Rescue Center
NMM opened a Rescue Center, called "The Nosim Home", which will be a safe sanctuary for young girls of High School age, to save them from early marriage and female circumcision. The girls will live at the home during the breaks and holidays from school. When they are on breaks, they will be trained in sex education, independent living skills, financial management, and proactive Christianity as well as individual and group counseling.
