MAASAI COLORS: A Cottage Industry
involving the Maasai women who create the beautiful Maasai adornments and
symbols constructed of colorful beadwork, which is imported through out
the United States for resale. In addition to the beadwork, a variety of
artifacts and carvings are also available for purchase.
In addition to the beautiful Maasai Beadwork, our African Market includes carvings, baskets, artifacts, jewelry, wearables, gifts and much more from all over African and even other underdeveloped countries.

The earnings from this project goes directly to the Maasai women as a means of empowerment. They use the monies to educate children, purchase medications, prevent female circumcision as well as Aides/Hiv prevention and treatment.
