Nosim Maasai Mission People Safari 2010

Oli Ki Munke Schoole: Work at the school included pouring concrete in 3 classrooms. A new toilet for teachers was started. (The pit is dug, and they began the foundation for the building.)
Ngong Methodist Church: A locked medical supply cabinet was built at the church in order to store the medical supplies that were carried over.
Sponsored Children: All children that are currently being sponsored were interviewed. We will create a DVD with video of each child. Also, we brought back many letters from the children to give to their sponsors.
Child Sponsor project: Nosim has 33 children currently sponsored. While in Africa, Nosim collected information for additional children. Currently Nosim is seeking sponsors for 145 children.
Orphan Feeding Program: Nosim now has a total of $50 a month contributed for this program.
Woman-to-Woman project: One woman has a mentor. Nosim accepted requests for 5 new women who would like to be paired with a mentor.

Our recent trip to Kenya was a whirlwind. Highlight was the opportunity to take Darlene along and, of course, visiting all the children and our loved ones.
